DAY 1: Welcome to Beautiful Malta!
Then you will be driven from Malta International Airport to Valletta, where you will take the ferry to Gozo! Here, you will spend three nights in a 4-star Boutique Hotel. We will get acquainted over welcome drinks and canapes in the evening. Then, you can enjoy a restful sleep to fuel the coming days as all the beauty of Gozo awaits you with open arms.
Gozo is much like the understated seductress Calypso, the nymph who lived hidden in a humble Gozitan cave but could hold the Greek hero Odysseus her captive for seven years through the power of her beauty, seduction, and love. Calypso even had powers over life and death, just like Gozo’s immortal Ggantija Temple that’s hailed the fertility Goddess for over 5,600 years.
DAY 2: Gozo Explorer- Red Tent Women’s Circle
Lunch is a picnic, followed by a Red Tent Women’s Circle experience. Red Tents stem from native American tradition and now refer to spaces intentionally co-created for women to share their stories, connect and authentically be together supporting one another. Later we will enjoy a lovely welcome dinner by the sea in one of Gozo’s most picturesque seaside locations. (B, L,D)
DAY 3: Culinary Arts-Meet the Horse Whisper
Lunch comes with a culinary lesson included where you can learn about authentic Maltese food and while eating your delicious creations. • Enjoy lunch before transferring to visit with Victor, an animal whisperer, and founder of Dreams of Horses Farm.
Victor’s intuitive gift with rescued animals taught us the methods animals use to communicate. With his guiding compassion and respect, the animals are integrated in large open air areas displaying tolerance for one another and exhibit a loving, therapeutic kindness in their work with people with special needs and the emotionally challenged.
Later, enjoy a moon light sunset cruise on the Mediterranean, with Prosecco & appetizers. Dinner at leisure. (B, L)
DAY 4: Gozo-Summer Solstice- Glamorous Valetta
You’ll spend the next two nights in 450-year-old Valletta, Malta’s historic capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site After your arrival in Valletta we will have a light lunch together and start a Two-Hour guided walking tour. You will gets acquainted with Valletta’s highlights and visit the jaw dropping St. John’s Co-Cathedral.
Followed by a private boat transfer across the spectacular Grand Harbour bringing us to the Three Cities. We will explore the most intriguing Birgu (Vittoriosa), the city of the Knights of Malta before they built Valletta. Dinner at leisure in this knighted city. (B, L)
DAY 5: Feed the Senses-Fragrance, Fashion, Food
Fragrance Workshop: Master Perfumer:
Stephen Cordina has spent over a decade working on combinations of essential oils and other materials to create his own private recipe book. Each blend of ingredients, formulated using his knowledge and experience as an Aromatherapist, creates a product which not only emits a beautiful fragrance but is beneficial to health when used. The final addition to each recipe is one or more essential oils designed to target the “spirit” and thus promote a feeling of wellbeing. You will create your own unique scent based on your individual style.
Fashion and Flair: Visit the Charles and Ron Café:
Learn about Maltese fashion as art and life. Discover your own style.
In the afternoon, make time to let loose, relax, play, and enjoy the flow as we take to the water. Today we take a boat trip to the amazing Blue Grotto at Wied iz-Zurrieq visit Hagar Qim temple and go swimming at Ghar Lapsi, in the south-west of the island. This final evening in Malta our dinner will be very special indeed we visit another fortified city: Mdina, Malta’s mystic old capital, were first inhabited 4000 years ago and featured in Game of Thrones! DAY 6: Sicilian Splendor
Upon arrival, you will have time for leisure and an authentic Italian dinner before taking a good rest from travel, to get ready for the next days’ adventures! (B, D)
DAY 7: Colors of Taormina
On the way there, we will take a journey to enjoy a few highlights and stop at the Siracusa Food Market in Ortygia followed by a light panini & arancini lunch. An optional boat trip awaits, or you can take some ‘Me Time’. This evening you will get a chance to mingle with the locals at leisure! (B)
DAY 8: Ignite Your Inner Fire
As we take a guided journey of Mount Etna, feel inspired to ignite your inner fire! Fuel the passion with the drink of the gods during a wine tasting session and lunch at a Sicilian produced winery. (B. L)
DAY 9: Greek Culture-Giardini Naxos
After breakfast, we will head to Naxos, an ancient Greek city now modern Giardini Naxos on the east coast of Sicily. Here, we will enjoy traditional Greek Cuisine and learn about the importance of Greek culture in Sicily’s history. This is the last stop of our journey together. Later, you are accompanied to the airport. We look forward to welcoming you on another beautifully woven transformative experience. Perhaps Peru, India, France, or Greece? (B)
